I have been with the club for over 10 years now with many different roles. I am passionate about allowing children to express themselves through their grassroots football journey and becoming the best they can be whilst having fun. I love all aspects of football and I am a Nottingham Forest fan so please forgive me.
Isabella Harrison
Club Secretary
My name is Bella and I have lived in Halesowen for the majority of my life. I was involved with football at a young age, playing in goal for school teams, and then progressing to coaching young players. I have always loved football, and enjoy supporting my local team, Halesowen Town FC, taking both my son and dog to enjoy the matches and atmosphere. I enjoy my role within this club, and look forward to meeting new faces and future players throughout the season.
Karen Forbes-Chapman
Club Treasurer
I originally was involved in grassroots football as a parent supporter due to my children playing for either school teams or club teams. I was able to retire for a bit to find myself becoming my son’s treasurer and progressing from there to Club Treasurer. Personally I’m not a great fan of football but as a child supported Nottingham Forest — however, I am a great fan of giving every child a chance to shine. I love my role as Club Treasurer and supporting at our Minis on a Saturday morning.

Welfare & Safeguarding Officer | Club Sustainability Officer
Hi my name is Julie, and I am mom to 2 children. My son is a budding grassroots football player in the club. I have been a football mom for the last 8 years and became involved as a volunteer with the club 5 years ago. I enjoy my role as Welfare and Safeguarding Officer. It is varied and a key part in the running of the club. In my spare time, I enjoy amateur dramatics and spending time with my family.

With more than 12 years of experience in football coaching, I have successfully nurtured talented players and contributed to building a winning team. I enjoy designing innovative training sessions and excel at managing players and parents while fostering positive team dynamics and embracing diversity.
Richard Thomas-Robinson
Club Coach Support Officer
Hi, I’m Rich AKA Robbo. I am coach support for the club. Halesowen Town Colts FC is becoming an incredibly significant part of my life with both my boys playing for the club. My eldest for my team that I manage and my youngest for the minis which I also support with coaching sessions. I am passionate about football and having played at step 6 level and had trials for England at youth level, also earning my coaching badges whilst at Birmingham City Development, I hope to help and support young footballers to progress and develop, giving them opportunities to play at a high level of football. The main thing is for them to enjoy it as that then unlocks full potential. One thing I learned whilst developing myself at 16 years old, even when the door is open ajar, it does not mean it is going to open itself fully to you. It will slam shut if you do not kick it open and take the opportunity the other side.
Joanne McGugan
Assistant Welfare & Safeguarding Officer
Hi, I’m Jo, and I’m really pleased to have joined the club as Assistant Welfare Officer. I’m a mum of two boys, and one of my boys currently plays for the club, so I’m also a football parent who understands how important it is for children to feel safe, happy and supported while enjoying the game they love. I have a professional background in nursing and management, where supporting people, listening to concerns and promoting wellbeing have always been a big part of what I do. In my role as Assistant Welfare Officer, I’ll be working alongside our Club Welfare Officer to support the club with safeguarding and welfare matters. I’m always happy to listen, whether you’re a player, parent or volunteer, and I hope to be someone people feel comfortable approaching if they have a concern or simply need a chat. I’m looking forward to getting to know more of our players, families and volunteers and playing my part in making sure that the wellbeing and safety of our children remains at the heart of the club.
